Welcome to Llangynidr Gundogs, run by professional Gundog Trainer  Nigel Probert, based on his smallholding near Usk , South Wales.

 

I started training and working Labradors for rough shooting and picking up. I then progressed to working tests, and field trials and am now fortunate to be a full time professional Gundog trainer and Competitor. 

 I have consistently represented Wales and Great Britain for the last 11 years in international tests. I was also very proud to Captain the UK Team in the Kennel Club Working Test to victory in 2022

I offer 1-2-1 and small group gundog training, from puppy to open competition standard. I also offer general training for domestic pets.
